I chose to show this weaving demonstration on excel. As you can see, I selected red as the background and chose a light blue for the coloring of my initials. I didn’t want the grid to be too big, so I made the size 11×8 because my initials need to be a bit wider. The weaving process is pretty simple. As you can see there is red surrounding the outside of my initials. This is to make sure the coloring for the letters is threaded into the middle and not hanging off the sides. If you would like to do try this out on your own. Just pull up an excel sheet and size the height and width of the boxes to create a square. I chose 14.5 for the height and 4 for the width. Choose your own grid size and colors and have fun!
